What it does
What it does.
Hosts the repositories
GitCtrl owns server-side Git repositories — overview, commits, file tree, branches, and search.
Review with gates
Merge requests carry gate rows that read pass or fail, with branch protection and an optional satisfying receipt.
A visible proof ledger
Workflow state and a ledger chain sit alongside the code rather than in a separate system.
Diffs in context
Per-file diff cards with status, path, counts, and unified hunks.
Architecture
Platform integration.
GitCtrl is database-coupled by design. It owns the repositories, but its metadata, authorization, audit events, workflow state, and proof ledger live in the CentralCtrl schema — a deliberately tighter boundary than the other applications.
