Coding agent
Lyca
A coding agent for the terminal and desktop.
Works standalone
What it does
What it does.
The CLI is the runtime
Provider setup, guarded local tools, interactive chat, durable coding runs, workstreams, and sessions all live in the command line.
A desktop workbench
Lyca Desktop is an Electron workbench over the same local CLI core — not a second agent runtime or credential store.
Guarded local tools
Tools that touch the machine are explicit and guarded rather than ambient.
Protocol-aware
Speaks the ACP protocol, so it can participate in a wider agent ecosystem.
Architecture
Platform integration.
Lyca works standalone. Pairing it with CentralCtrl adds issue, session, and coordination tools over the authenticated CentralCtrl API — but it never embeds a CentralCtrl server or database.
